The National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC) is a small non-profit charitable educational organization incorporated and headquartered in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Since 1982, NVIC’s mission has been to promote and protect the health and welfare of children and adults by preventing vaccine injuries and deaths through public education and to represent the concerns of and assist vaccine injured individuals and their families. NVIC does not make vaccine use recommendations. NVIC defends the ethical principle of informed consent to medical risk taking and civil liberties that protect freedom of thought, speech and conscience to support educated, voluntary healthcare decision making.
